May 29 to June 5

My annual trip to the Cabin with my Dad. I fished every day and got skunked more often than not. Did see some nice flowers and bugs.






By now you get the idea.




I fish in the UP and Wisconsin. Don't even cross the bridge to that other Michigan.

Spent a day and half on Andelle ad Iton in Normandy.
Beautiful water, but expensive and caught no trout.
Took these pics though.

Sure, this is historical in nature.

But, seems like a good place for a permanent location for an all year trout report.


Starting at the end - with September.

September 30
My last day of the inland season from the central U.P.
That bow was also the biggest fish I got all year.

Cicadas

These have been making appearances as of late. From the back yard from the North fork of the Chicago River drainage, I took these on Sunday. Each image links to zooming image at full res.

HDW-MOBILE. What's it mean? Well, I can do more here than just send pictures from my Treo650. I do travel a bit. Above is an image - a full page scan of a newspaper from Xi'an. It is the front page of one of the largest daily papers there. Cultural heritage is not a small think there, it is a big thing. We we're doing the culminating conference of a large project, of which, this is an image and article about our work there. You'll have to learn Chinese is you want to read the article.
