Added a vacation day to my trip last week to the Bamboo Project workshop in AZ. As usual, this post is not in order or in a particular time based sense, but I got around to it today.
Arrived in Page AZ a little after mid day Friday. Looking out across the tarmac at some real geography.
Toto, we're not in Kansas anymore.
Yes, I did catch a trout.
First trout of 2009, on the egg fly dropper off of a weighted cactus bugger.
Full moon rise over the marble canyon
More scenery on Sunday afternoon.

Great pics. Looks like you flashed the landscape in the "not in Kansas" pic. Do you really carry a flash that can illuminate a bluff? Or am I not understanding what is going on in htht pic?
ReplyDeleteNice fish. Nice start to the year. In honor of the inauguration, I humbly offer a suggestion for a caption:
"My name is Obamandias, King of Kings..."
Nevermind. I think I need to retain that for a blog post.

Wait. strike that. I'll need to use that for the title of a blog post.
Well, you need to look closer. It is not a bluff, but an enormous rock perched on a very tiny bit of soil that has been eroded by the wind, in front of a bluff.
ReplyDeleteBut to answer your question :
"Do you really carry a flach (sic) that can light up a bluff?"
the answer is... doesn't everybody ?
